Toryok is located in Sittong II, which is basically upper Sittong. The population of Toryok is about 600 and the houses are located some distance away from each other, thereby giving the region a spread-out appearance. Even though it is a very small place, you will not feel that it is congested. As the entire region is a forest area, there are an innumerable variety of birds that are visible even from the lawn of our property.
The valley stretches out before you and the Riyang river meanders across it. If you walk up about 200 meters from the homestay, you can see the Kanchanjungha range before you. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful haven or getaway to unwind from your daily work pressures, this is the perfect place for you.
