Homestay in Jhandi

Jhandi Dara is a tourist destination in the Kalimpong district. Located at an altitude of about 6,200 feet, this hilly village offers a retreat away from the touristy Darjeeling or Kalimpong towns. The name Jhandi in the local language means a flag, and Dara means a hilltop. So Jhandi Dara is the hilltop where flags flutter
The main attraction of Jhandi is its pristine nature and great mountain view. On a clear day.

Jhandi is an ideal place for relaxing on a hilltop; it also has a lot to offer in terms of sightseeing and activities. The sunrise viewpoint is an important attraction here, offering great views of Kanchenjunga and the Eastern Himalayas.
