Humro Home Nirvana Homestay Darjeeling is a new Homestay that became operational in 2018. The Homestay offers 3 rooms, all with an attached toilet and running hot and cold water. The Homestay is about 250 meters from the Darjeeling bus and taxi stand. The Darjeeling Mall is about a km away and takes about 15 minutes to reach. The governor's house is 500 meters uphill walk.

The Homestay is located in an old building but the construction of the rooms is very recent. This is one of the oldest parts of Darjeeling town where during the British time the commoner among the British used to stay. Thus giving the area its unique name of Pharaine Villa, probably referring to the foreigners staying there.

There are 3 rooms in the Homestay, you have to climb down a flight of stairs to reach a balcony on which all the three-room entrances are located. All the rooms have attached toilets with running hot and cold water. There is a small kitchenette in each room, although guests are allowed to make only tea there, and cooking anything else is not allowed.

For the uninitiated, the area is known as Kutchery Road and it's about 250 meters from the main taxi stand of Darjeeling.

For those who know the area, one may walk from the taxi stand on the Lebong cart road for about 200 meters, you will find a small lane on your road going up towards the Mall. This is the Kutchery Road and our Homestay is about 50 meters ahead on this road overlooking the Lebong cart road from its Balcony.
