Orientation
Borong is a small hamlet in South Sikkim famous primarily for the numerous varieties of birds one can spot here. It is truly a birder's paradise and you can catch sight of species like Mrs. Gould's Sunbird, Blue-Fronted Redstart, Large Niltava, and many more. Be sure to bring along your camera to shoot these beauties in their natural habitat. Being a forest area, it is lush with flora and fauna. Tourists in this region come mainly to soak in the natural environment.
Humro Home Ashwin Homestay is a single-storied house mainly made of wood, with 2 rooms. The kitchen and dining area are on one side and the guest rooms are on the other. Each room can accommodate up to 3 adults. Walk around to the back and spend some time on the balcony there which overlooks the dense forest behind the property. You can spot many birds from the balcony itself. There is a television in the common sitting area and a dining hall.
